Meet the Makers: Ceramic Artists Shaping American Craft

In America, clay has long been part of daily life, from the jugs and plates of early potters to the sculpture in today's galleries. Join ceramicists Sophie Copeland and Andrea Garcia as they take us into their studios: to the wheel, the worktable, and the kiln, where glaze and fire can still surprise an experienced maker. Each Maker will share the path that led them to clay and how they developed a style that is clearly their own.
