О мероприятии

As part of its Makers of a Nation series, AMC presents William Peebles, founder of Huntington Base Ball Co. in Massachusetts, where every baseball is cut, stamped, and hand-stitched one at a time. Trained as an industrial designer at Massachusetts College of Art, he studies original balls from the 1850s to the 1920s and rebuilds them by hand: 116 stitches of waxed linen, about 45 minutes per ball. A conversation about leather, research, and the craft behind an American game.
